PASSPORT REQUIREMENT FOR LAND & SEA TRAVEL - IMPLEMENTATION DATE REVISED

The implementation date for the passport requirement (land & sea travel) has been deferred until Summer 2008 (date tba); this is a change from the January 2008 date. Please review the following information applicable to U.S. & Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents on domestic itineraries:

U.S. and Canadian citizens are currently not required to travel with a passport on domestic itineraries including Alaska, Bermuda, Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexico. For itineraries between now and summer 2008 (date tba) in which a passport is not required, U.S. and Canadian citizens who do not have a valid passport must provide the following proof of citizenship:

A naturalization certificate or an original certified birth certificate from the state of their birth (a hospital certificate will NOT suffice) together with a current and valid government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license. Note that a driver's license ALONE is not sufficient.

U.S. Resident Aliens are required to present, in addition to a valid passport, a current and valid Alien Resident Card. Canadian permanent residents are required to present a valid Permanent resident Card in addition to a valid passport.

IMPORTANT
If the passenger's cruise requires AIR travel between the United States, and the Americas, Canada, the Caribbean, Bermuda or Mexico, the passenger will be REQUIRED to present a valid passport when returning to the U.S. by AIR. Therefore, passengers disembarking in Acapulco, Barbados, Montego Bay, Quebec and Vancouver will need a passport to enter or re-enter the United States by air.

In order to adapt to today's air fare pricing environment, all Carnival Corporation cruise brands -- including Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and The Yachts of Seabourn -- will no longer pay commission on the air portion of cruise bookings.
